Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the teenager age. After a kickboxing training session, wrestling BJJ and BJJ, she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd was on a stunning 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In all three, she finished her opponent in the very first round. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia outclassed Aspen and defeated her via unanimous decision to put an ominous mark on her amateur record. Ladd won her next fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen turned professional in 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her in the first round to win a TKO. Invicta 16 saw her move into the Bantamweight division after winning the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen employed her skills in wrestling to knock out McGill via TKO in the third-round (elbows & punches). Aspen was then able to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight at 138.1lb. Ladd was not capable of achieving the weight however Aspen took the victory and defeated Hoy via TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final bout with the club. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks beaten by a an unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, with a bout against Lina Langsberg. She dominated Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round later in the second. She continued to dominate and scored a more impressive win in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger. UFC 229 Ladd was able to defeat Evinger in the very first round and was awarded a prize for her performance on the evening. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes in a UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Lee match with Eubanks' Sijara was her first fight that she's had in a major way. Ladd, who won by a unanimous decision following some great exchanges between the two fighters was awarded her Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in just 16 seconds, putting an end to her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya, in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's third round, lost to Randamie. As a replacement She fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The decision was made unanimously in her favor.
